Full-Stack Software Engineer

Annapolis Junction, MD

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a full stack software developer for one of our contracts that offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. As soon as an employee enters a customer facility, they touch one of these applications which are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more.   • Join a team of 4 developers and a system engineer managing critical enterprise applications for Space, Property, and Transportation Management
  • Required skills include strong Java development, proficiency in Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks, and familiarity with Docker and Linux OS
  • Navigate a dynamic agile environment, embracing challenges to creatively solve complex customer requirements
  • Experience with Camunda for workflow creation and dashboard troubleshooting is a plus

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • A bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Ten (10) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.  
  • Experience with Java development
  • Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular
  • Experience developing in the Linux operating system
  • Experience with Docker for containerized application deployment and management

Desired Qualifications:

  • AWS experience  
  • Experience in an Agile development environment 
  • Experience working with the Atlassian Tool Suite 
  • Experience with SpringBoot 
  • Experience with GitLab for version control
  • Experience with Camunda as workflow tool
